deadhorse.gif Hehe I love the Grado-guy-beating-the-dead-horse-Senn-veil emoticon!

Welcome to Head-Fi!  And don't worry, you'll learn a whole lot here if you stick around a while!

Anyways, what brings you here? Looking for an upgrade from iBuds? Audiophile by nature?

good lord.

So that's what that ridiculous thing is. I got the beating a dead horse part, but the rest of it was a mystery to me. I always thought the "veil" was just there to signify that the horse had passed on quite a while ago and was emitting the stench of death. Fish sometimes get wispy white fungus on them if they've been dead a while and haven't been found (my family breeds them, so I know this).

I thought too much about this.

The second time I read this I noticed all the 'Yalls.' I didn't realize that translated into text...

So how do you say "we all" colloquially?

LOL!  Thanks, Ish!  You know the whispers and the background noises in your favorite music?  Well I didn't until a friend showed me the ways of the audiophile recently, so I am just sorta pokin round these parts.  deadhorse.gif

I do, however, so hate to part with the ibuds.

logwed, don't hate...  appreciate...  the yalls ;)  ya gotta admit, it adds both color and seasoning to the black n white...  ;)
