Decided this is what i'm gonna buy, what differences are there between these two versions besides one being harder to drive?

That's what I was wondering.

I want the DT-770s to be cheaper so I can buy them.

thanks lol after reading this I can't really justify the 50 dollar price jump between the 250 and 600 ohm DT990's however this doesn't at all explain why the DT990s are now cheaper than the 770s....

It does tell you that you need to buy the DT-990 if you were on the fence about them.

I, however, am returning mine

why would you say something like that and not explain why

I asked this in another thread but would like some more feedback. I have a Pioneer VSX 1019AH A/V receiver and would like to know if that would provide sufficient power to properly drive the 990/600's. Also, I don't see too many references to listeners EQ'ing their sources. I usually like my sound a bit bright, so I'm thinking the 990's might be just the ticket. I'm thinking that if they're actually too bright (as some have suggested) I could easily EQ via the receiver for a little less treble. Any responses will be greatly appreciated!
