SQ Only: Sony D-E220 VERSUS D-EJ011 CD Players

I believe the D-E220 was made in 2000-2001 which I believe was just past the vintage player years.  It is still considered good sounding?  I can get my hands on a used one.....OR

 

I think the D-EJ011 is from 2008 and can still be found in a few stores.  I know nothing about it's SQ.

 

I just noticed cd players are literally dissapearing from retail store shelves.  Any opinion on either of these two is appreciated.  I want to pick one up since I still play cd's.

modern sony pcdp kinda suck. I had a gpx pcdp and they were much better than modern sony pcdp a friend had. The internal amp sounded dynamic.gpx pcdp are very cheap but are very under rated because no one uses pcdp anymore.

 

noted: gpx sound quality vary alot from model to model
