So here is my idea…
What I am doing here is a little different but pretty simple. I am offering my Alessandro MS-1’s to a fellow Head-Fi member at no charge. I will consider domestic and international members; shipping cost is the only cost.
These Ms-1’s are used, not abused, look great and work perfectly. These will be coming with the original box, mini plug, pads and bowls, as well as a spiffy headphone case from our good friends at Headroom (which is an excellent bag by the way).
Here’s the rub…As we know, these are one of the first HP’s recommend for folks new to HP’s and the Head-Fi community. I am going to give these to a new(ish) member. Not sure how I will vet the appropriate recipient yet but it is safe to say that if you have 5+ hp’s, 1000 posts, a few random amps, etc. - you will not be getting these. To clarify, whoever gets these is entirely and solely at my discretion.
I would like whoever gets these to, at some point, pass along this same gesture when the time comes. If they start to sit around more than they are used - send them along. Pass these MS-1’s along or, if you really like them, maybe send along a different pair in your collection at some point. The idea is to pass along the sentiment not necessarily the object. If you decide not to pass them or another pair along that’s your deal but don’t be a weenie…
Why am I doing this? Well, that is a good question. I guess that after a tough year or two I am just trying to put something a little unexpected, a gift, out into the universe...lucky you.
Your only task (other than paying for shipping) is to tell me a little about yourself and why you should get these…PM me, don’t post. Be honest, be open, be brief.
These are not for sale that is why I have posted here – may the mods strike me down with vengeful & righteous HP lightning if I have so sinned…or maybe just move thread…
