My favorite brand of IEMs is Ultimate Ears, but when it comes to full sized cans, Sennheiser is my choice

Sennheiser.

Stax, Etymotic. Sennheiser is my least favourite.

Beyerdynamic for best balance of:  price, bass, value, comfort.

Least favorite:  All supra-aurals for pushing on my ears and causing discomfort after 30 mins.

I would have to say without a doubt Shure's line of headphones are my favorite right now.  While the SRH440's are only my third pair of headphones(SRH240, HD515 being the other two) and really my first REAL foray into the world of high quality audio, their exceptional clarity, smooth foward midrange and excellent build quality have turned me into a big fan of their products.  I originally wanted to eventually try different brands in order to experience the different sound qualities of the various manufacturers, but I've been so impressed with the Shures that I find my only logical upgrade from here is to the SRH840s.  I can't wait to hear how those guys sound!

Limited experience here but I very much enjoyed my time with my Beyerdynamics and call me a fanboy if you like....but I am in love with my Grados. There are however many headphones out there I would love to try out...Sennheiser, Stax, Denons, Beats.

I like the look and comfort of AKG.

I like that AT is a Japanese company, and their headphones also look nice (haven't tried the comfort).

I like the performance of Sennheiser.

I think I've tried at least one or two of the major brands now.

I'm still pretty much a Beyerdynamic fanboy, having had the DT990 Pro, DT990/600, DT48E, DT480, DT150.  I have a pair of DT250 on the way.

I like the brightness, clarity, comfort, and durability that they tend to have.
