Titanium HD vs. X-Fi Prelude

Hi there, sorry if I've posted in the selection here, but needs must... Any help will be much appreciated on this. I need to know what are the main sound differences between the following SC's, if any at all? Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD & the AuzenTech X-Fi Prelude. I'll be upgrading soon from the AuzenTech to the Creative, but thought I'd come over here to see what you guys seem to think. If you don't highly rate the Creative, or you think they're pretty much on a par with eachother, which particular SC would you go for? Budget range of around £300/$600. Many thanks.

Bump/

I'll wait another 24 hours, no reply? I'll get the Titanium HD

They're going to be pretty much the same with one card being 2.0 sound and the other being 7.1 sound.  Both will output S/PDIF, though, so either could be used to pass on movie soundtracks untouched.

I don't know why you think going from a Prelude to a titanium HD would be enough of an upgrade..I'd keep the Prelude.. Otherwise buy the HD from best buy like I did..They have a 14 day return policy..

Sorry guys, should've emphasised that the Prelude has a little damage. The actually port from the ‘Phone/Amp socket is a pretty knackered. One of those nightmare blunders in the middle of the night kinda thing, ....Having said that however, the overall sound is fine it’s merely 48% 52% balance on the bass playback for some reason? Very noticeable I've gotta say. Could be slightly wrong with the trained ear however? Tried some other tests with my HTC Desire and Creative MP3 player, the sound were spot on. Crystal clear bass and the overall performance was outstanding, so it’s definitely the SC socket without a doubt. Was actually thinking about buying the Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3 Deluxe for an extra £50/$100 but decided against it. Many thanks for your commences though chaps - definitely sticking with the Titanium HD decision now.

Has this WS got loads of bugs from what you know? Never had so many errors whilst posting in a forum.

Thanks again!
