Portable Dac/Amp for SRH750DJ / laptop?

So, I got a pair of SRH750DJ's which I use with a Macbook, I want to be sure that I'm getting the best I can out of both. I might be as well getting better phones in the near future so I need an amp that would also work with higher-ends phones.

I was wondering if a iBasso D12 or D4 would help render better sound? Used as an usb dac/amp from my laptop. If not, what other options could I have? I am literally clueless.

I don't care how much it would cost, just that it's portable so I can also use it with an iPod..

Thanks for the help.

Been also looking into the Pico USB dac/amp, a nuForce uDac2 that can be used with a Macbook and an iPod on the go.

So far, options are:

- Pico USB dac/amp

- iBasso D10

- iBasso D12

- uDac2

Am I not making any sense? Sigh. =(

What about the Total BitHead?

I never tried any of the others you listed but I've had my Pico amp/dac for about 2 years and I love it, runs my grados and iems perfectly.

The D10 is great and it will be able to easily drive the SRH750, the D12 is an upgrade to the D10 with the dual chip design. Out of the dac/amp you've listed I'm pretty sure the pico will beat the rest of the competition.
