Page layout problems

Thread Starter

I keep seeing a partial advertisement for the Samsung Galaxy Tab on the extreme edges of my screen while surfing Head-Fi regardless of the web browser that I am using: Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. Is this just me or is this an acknowledged problem with the new Huddler system?

Thank you.

That's what's coded; the "ad" is a gigantic .jpg that's setup as a background-image on the <body> of every page (http://assets.head-fi.org/0/0d/0de9b53a_galaxy-headfi.jpg). Not sure what they were going for there. Doubt it's a huddler bug; probably just a content management issue head-fi will get around to. You really shouldn't stress about things like this. If you still do, then get something like the Grease Monkey plugin and setup scripts to modify/fix the layout as much as you please.

Oh wow, just saw what they intended on the forum listings page (where the background is working as intended). I though that might be the aim, but it was hard to believe they'd really eat up that much horizontal real estate for ads. I guess so.

They're missing the max-width: 1240px; CSS rule on the thread pages for div.semi-fluid.
