MF DOOM - less than 5 rappers that can compare to his consistent complex rhymes. jay-z, nas, lupe fiasco dont even come close to how creative his rhymes are. they are actually dumb down compared to DOOM.

Aesop Rock - He rhymes like an abstract poet/philosopher/scientist. Another rapper ahead of almost everyone.

Dj Quik - Talented rapper/producer. Unique in that he sounds like one of a kind. Who else does G-funk on his level? he could be a millions times better if he wasnt so stubborn and wanting to stay relevant to his gangster friends. He is better than Dr. Dre everyday as a rapper and producer.

Flying Lotus - too many so called hip-hop fans love to ignore producers. Well flying lotus single-handedly started the westcoast beat renaissance

Kid Koala - Most talented turntablist in hip-hop. His more recent work that is more minimal turntablism is beautiful and full of emotions.
