(CNN) -- Teena Marie, a celebrated R&B singer-songwriter, was found dead Sunday at her California home, her manager said.

I saw this earlier in Audio Asylum, and was indeed saddened to hear of her passing.  She was always one of my favorite R&B singers, with such a unique voice and great music. 

 

She will definitely be missed.

Young  hope it was not a drug thing as I really liked her but that was the monkey that got her friend Rick James.
