Help with uDAC2 on a MAC?

I just received a uDAC 2, yet it doesn't seem to be working well with my Macbook.  It's plugged into the USB port and is recognized in the System Profiler, but I'm not sure where to go from here.  I can't access the device at all, and I'm not sure how to begin running music through it.  Any help would be appreciated, I have a feeling I'm just making some idiotic mistake.

System preferences->Hardware->Sound->Output

Or hold down "option" while clicking on the volume icon to select the audio output.

Great tip. I've been using Macs for years (like 23) and didn't know that quick way of getting to the Sound Syst Pref settings
