SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio

I have Sansa clips and Sony S545 but I find they don't sounds as good as the audio playing from my HP EliteBook 2530p. I check the driver, it says "SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio". I'm not sure about it but it seems sound so much much ahead of the 2 DAPs I have. It is really day and night, sound is full, forceful, detail and very nice sound stage.

Any DAP uses the SoundMAX Integrated Digital HD Audio chip? I would seriously want to buy one.

There´s no DAP using the SoundMax,  afaik.

Maybe some quality earplugs fixes the things for you.  wink.gif

Are you sure it isn't just different volumes playing tricks on you?

No it is not. I try listening back and fore between the DAPs and the laptop it was that good. I tried another 2 other laptop of different brand they aren't as good as the one using "SoundMax Integrated Digital HD Audio". The EliteBook is a small 12" laptop with only 1 speaker, I always find the sound not bad until I plug in a earphone I was very impressed.
