I want to get refurbished headphones by Monster...will the build quality and sound quality be the same as new ones? I have new ones right now that I just got like 2 days ago but the price is so good I want to return the ones I got and order new refurbished ones...worth it?

As far as I know, items listed as factory refurbished usually consist of B-stock, open box, or store returns that are returned to the manufacturer and restored into like-new condition.  From my experience with a refurbished Sansa Clip, Clip+, and Sennheiser HD218, the items appear to be almost indistinguishable with brand new products outside of the lack of retail packaging (and in the case of the Clips, a branded "R" on the back of the units).  The real difference here is the warranty; in your case, I believe a refurb has a 90 day warranty period as opposed to 3 years, so keep that in mind as you make your decision.

I buy  a lot of refurbished gear, TV, Vacuum, digital picture frame.......etc. I've never had a problem with any of it.

Just keep a close eye on it for the first 30 days, if anything throws you off Monster will send you a bran new one after a small, painless questionnaire.  Theyll even let you keep the original accessories so youll end up with 2 sets.
