I have a couple of questions.
1) Should I be thrilled?
2) Does any one have experience with Square Trade warranty?
3) Should I bother with a warranty for it?

I have square trade warranty's on a bunch of my stuff, the biggest ticket item being my kindle. I haven't had to use them but have heard and read very good things about them.
For ebay stuff the warranty is twice the cost and only one year IIRC. Not sure how worth it is to you.
I DO however endorse Squaretrade on more expensive new electronics. I have a LED TV, Kindle, and Netbook all covered by their warranties. There support is very friendly and they care a LOT about customer perception IME.
First year on this is $31.16. The second year is $15 or $16. Cheaper than Applecare, so I think I'll go for it. A bit of safety on a refurbed unit, and a bit of safety for a new owner should I decide to sell.
