I have two pairs of TSRP I purchased on eBay for $400.00 a pair and are for sale at $400.00 each as I am just interested in getting the money I paid for them. I'll pay for shipping anywhere in the US.
These are round mica TSRP which are the most rare, as production stopped in 1942 and all TSRP's after that had the oval mica.
When I bought these, I did not know there was a sonic difference between the round and oval mica. To my hearing, there seems to be more higher frequency detail and the sound stage or presentation is more holographic than the oval micas. I prefer a very mild and polite presentation, and the round mica's are too forward for me.
One pair is almost broken in with 60 hours of play and the other has not been played. Both pairs were lit up and tested in 1957 and have stamps on the boxes. All boxes are original.
I'll accept PayPal and there are no additional fees. The price of $400.00 for these tubes is fair and what is being paid for them on eBay and it is firm.
