whys the for sale / trade forum so dead these days?

title says it all. just curious if its always this dead around christmas? I would think it would be the opposite but damn. I put up a WTB ad with like 6 or 7 different models and I've only received one response in 3 days or so about the most obscure/least attainable model on my list (which I'm happy about, but the guy wanted more than I am willing to pay so not really at the same time). 

 

So anyway, anyone know of any other FS/T forums that I could look at? I only post here and on HARDOCP's(which is mostly computer parts, really). Not really sure of any other boards!

Maybe you are looking at the wrong for sale/ trade forum?

it's much slower than it has been (less posts, less "PM sent"(s), maybe only i would know since i literally check every every time i am free. also, due to buying presents, wallets are looking like they really need a good christmas ham...

It is not just the sale forum that is dead.

 

Compared with a year ago the whole site is dead.(Except for the adverts which are increasing} R.I.P. Head-Fi.
