The theme was Havana noight . It's a local catering hall. Heavey On the GINSALOON. Italians for those who don't know the street lingo.

Anyone want to weigh in?

I've heard the Master 3 pair with the HE-6 and PWD2.  Nice warm and intimate sound and very good dynamic swing when called for.

I can add this , he has a M7 dac . So no volume control. M3 power amp no volume control. Am I missing something ?

The pwdmkii has a volume control a well implemented one too.

So I'm sure the M3 is a good amp. But how will the volume be controlled and what method ?

Kingwa describes the Master-3 being neutral. All the audio gd gear I've heard have been very neutral. Maybe the PWD2 is a bit warm?

Nope, compared to my F1J.  In this comparison the Master 3 was more on the warm side compared to the F1J.  The F1J is the most neutral amp I've heard to date.

I guess it could be. But when I compared the M8 to the woo WA5
both using the M7. There was virtually no difference between the two
Amps and the same with the krell KAV 400xi
So of the master3 is warm or not I cannot
Answer this but the pwdmkii with 243 firmware
Is not Brite

Not sure how all that relates to the Master 3 and the F1J:blink:   But in a side by side the F1J is the neutral amp and the Master 3 is the more warm intimate amp.  Hey, this is a good thing.  I really like the amp and even more with the HE-6.

I guess every one has a different reference point for neutral.  The F1J is mine.  The Master 3, GS-X mk2, M^3, and the Beta 22 are all on the warm side of neutral.  While the BHA-1, Mojo, Magni, Burson 160D, Emotiva amps, and the CK²III are all on the bright side of neutral.

Also the PWD2 sounds nothing like my AMR..

It is an objective point of view. I feel the warmer amps are neutral and the brighter are just that brighter.

Objective?  How so?  All these impressions by you and me and anyone else are subjective at best.  So how is your point of view objective?

Again, every one has a different reference point.  I have mine and everyone else has theirs.  This is all subjective.

Sorry wrong word I meant subjective. Sorry man I'm doing three things at once. . It's just my observation not a fact .

hmmm reading the 6moons review, it seems like that Master-3 is probably a bit warm sounding, a bit sluggish too. Looks like I'll have no choice but to get a Krell. :veryevil:
