that an my land lord has a cow every time I get a new amp....
Damn, don't want to do that! You could always unplug the fridge and heater to allow more juice for your amps biggrin.gif

Thanks Ken! I do take major attention to detail when building a project. I do it as if it were my own, and that means it will always be overkill in some form or another smily_headphones1.gif

:O I do need some one to recably me BELOVEDED w1000x at some point... although I am spoiled with Frank of Toxic cables TIGHT braiding and cable construction

I live smack dab in the middle of the USA. Frank has some serious skills, I'm not sure if I can match his quality, but the critical materials are always the best i can obtain for a sane price.

I would be surprised if could drive the HE6. It looks like a WiMP.
"Brunk Audio", "I make Schiit and stuff" tongue_smile.gif  Ooh nice pics. I'm more curious about the Ygg myself though. I've had my fill of Circlotron... for now smily_headphones1.gif
"Brunken Sounds", has a nice ring to it tongue.gif

If you have any questions about the First Watt stuff, just let me know and I can lead you to some good resource material.
Found it! The Interstage Mono Block PSE 300B / SE 300B SET Monoblocks

For a less ambitious 300b tube amp, I like the Damn Good 300b SET amp

I almost thought the branding on the amp represented "Adam Audio" or something lol

Yeah I think it would be an outstanding amp for HE-6, but I would still go the 300b route IMO. That's the pinnacle of tube amps. Plus, it doubles as a speaker amp.

agreed, although some might question the power of a for the he-6.  i have a 300B set and 2a3 push pull monos and i think that they work fine for me, although i do find that i leave the tube amps on my speakers most of the time and use a big hybrid (150 watts) for the headphones.  thanks

This particular 300b monoblock is kind of special in that it's 20W per channel (2x 300b's per monoblock). What kind of power does yours put out? What hybrid do you use?

i saw the specs, looks good. i heard an audio note 2a3 in parallel at an audio show and it was among my favorites at the show.  the 300B set is about 8 watts, the 2a3 push pull i think are 12; the hybrid is a blue circle bc204.
