Guys, my computer does not recognize HM 801, or the SDHC card within.

Are there drivers I'm supposed to have?

Thanks in advance.

Is it plugged into DATA EXC port?

No, the USB port.  Should it be in the DATA EXC port?  I had no idea what that port was for.

Yes it needs to be in the DATA EXC (Exchange) port. Thats the one you use when you want to access either its internal storage or the SD card.

The other port you were using is if you wish to use it as a USB DAC.

That's kind of funny, though I sympathize with your loss of a couple days of listening.  I'm in the software business, and often enough at trade shows we demo things on boards without enclosures or with enclosures that lack indications of what's going on.  The "first law of demos" is to make sure the thing is plugged in correctly and turned on.  People who've been doing this kind of thing for decades still fall prey to it.

Enjoy that 801!

That was the problem.  I had it plugged in to the USB/Dac port, not the USB/Data Exchange port.  I've not had a unit with two ports before.  Now, everything works fine.  Thanks for your help.
