My experience is that each time you play a vinyl record, it gets destroyed a little. So the sound won't be the same after 100 plays of the same disc.

Also the tonearm, cartridge alignment and whatnot are also quite fiddly. I have a vinyl system but I rarely listen to it now...

100% CD for me.

Previously, I held on to vinyl well past its sell-buy date, but I finally ditched it for CD for pratical, not SQ, reasons.

 

Will go to downloads only when HD content becomes mainstream, or when CDs stop being sold.

Digital download (lossless of course) if it's cheaper than CD, since it's not the case currently, I'm voting CD.
