I am currently using a Cowon D2 and a Total AirHead. The Cowon definitely doesn't drive the Beyers adequately by itself. The HM601 is very attractive, but its size would make carrying around the AirHead also a bit of a pain.

 

Does anyone have any idea as to whether the HM601 would adequately drive the Beyers on their own?
