Foobar Skins

Thread Starter

I recently installed foobar2000 and would like put a skin on it. I was thinking of this one:

The only problem is that I have no idea how to install the skin properly and no directions are given on that page. Could someone help me out? Thanks.

Hello SS,

Well, my advice to you and the first thing you should do, if you are of drinking age, is make yourself a very tall one, because you will need it while you install these configs...lol...Just kidding...beerchug.gif

I love Br3tt's configs but do take some time getting used to installing them.  I don't have Exchange at the moment, but he usually includes a "read me" file with instructions on each config.

They are all basically fcl imports (he does all the work and you just put it in the correct places).  A bit of tinkering here and there after, but once you set it up, you'll never look back.....

Great stuff...

Thanks HeatFan12. Br3tt actually just released a new skin which was very easy to configure, so I got that one.

Nice!.....Looking good.....I'm rockin' Kameleon with my Vista laptop at the moment.  Changes colors like a chameleon.  You can choose the black textured backround or a pic of your choice.  Br3tt is da man...!!!!

Cheers

I soooo wish Foobar was for Mac. I love my Mac, and won't ever own another PC, but Foobar is amazing.

Hi Spiralstatic, thx for your post. I finally able to get a good skin for my foobar :D

I finally figured this one out...and after all the headache I went through...I didn't even like it...lol...so I went back to my minimalist approach and will probably just stick with that...I don't look at my player while I am listening anyways unless I am changing songs/albums

I suggest dark one, which is the skin I use. Very, very nice.

Check out the work done by Br3tt.  Many consider his work and him as a skinner to be the best there is....I agree with that.  His skins which have been mentioned here are basically the best there is for Foobar.
