For $30, it's a steal. I bought this a while back, and I enjoyed them well enough. The OP asked for closed, looks and comfort. IMHO, these are all three, though the SQ isn't anything special. These look BETTER than the Bose, IMHO. They are actually a little different when directly comparing them (I have).



Yeah, but I forgot that I wanted good sound too!

Lol. For $30, they're not bad. The sound is a bit warm and veiled for my taste, but nothing bad. They're decent. I've heard a lot worse from headphones worth 3 times the cost.

 

I think some good drivers (made for closed headphones) would make these a lot more appealing. I REALLY liked how they looked and felt.

AudioTechnica woodies are gorgeous. The ESW9 is the next portable headphone in line for me.

I'm in the minority in that I thought they didn't look as good as everyone made them out to be. When I got my ESW9 last week, I was like, "That's it?"

 

I much prefer the ES7's looks. Too bad they are both pretty painful to wear, though the ESW9 is just slightly better.

Saw them in the flesh on someone's head the other day, they looked a lot better than I thought they would. All metal and leather, not a bit of plastic to be seen unless you count wire insulation.
