Every time I record from line-in USB HD Sound Blaster I need to go to the computer's control panel-audio devices and re-apply the line-in device to an alternative bit rate before I can get a signal, even though this is my default device. What am I doing wrong to need to do this each time I wish to record. BTW, no matter where previously applied, 16/48, or 24/96, it does not matter- I still need to set to something other than what is already set and then re- apply before I can get a signal.
