Any way to make more than one folder on Sony PSP?

Thread Starter

Hi, I'm using a PSP as my portable source (mainly since I've owned it for 5 years for games and don't feel like spending $300 on another source when my PSP can play music), with 16gb memory.

Question: How do I make a folder within a folder show up on the PSP? When I do it on my computer the sub-folder inside the main folder doesn't show up on the PSP. This kind of sucks since I have to have all music of the same genre in one huge folder on my PSP and it takes ages to navigate through.

Not expecting anyone here to be using a PSP as their source, but any ideas?

I did use my PSP as a source for a while, and still do sometimes(waiting for my sansa Fuze in the mail, my work BB works just as good). I am just wondering if you are using the original firmware or a custom firmware. I know if you are using a CF you can use teh program IRshell, and that allows you to view nested music folders. Also iirc, if you are using a custom firmware and the original PSP launcher shell, LightMP3 is a very good program that supports nested folders.

As far as an unmodded PSP, sorry bro, I don't remember ;)
