Portable external double layer Blu-Ray and Super-Multi writer drive options

Hello guys. I subscribe to Netflix and I opted for the ability to rent Blu-Ray movies for an additional $2.00 USD monthly fee. I own an ASUS N61JV-X2, Toshiba NB205-N310/BN-G, and an ASUS U30JC-X2B as well as a Hewlett Packard Pavillion a1700n desktop PC. None of these computers have a Blu-Ray drive.

I am interested in purchasing a portable external double layer Blu-Ray and Super-Multi writer drive. It should have an AC adaptor and power cord for home usage and it should be powered by a high speed USB 2.0 type A to Mini cable for on the go usage. I am looking for the fastest possible speed which is currently 6x for single layer Blu-Ray discs and 4x for double layer Blu-Ray discs. It must be compatible with Microsoft Windows XP Home SP3, Vista SP2, and 7 operating systems. I would also like if it came with a blank single layer Blu-Ray disc. I expect CyberLink MediaSuite 8 or later version to be included so that I can play Blu-Ray movies.

To tell the truth, I am also looking into the SONY BDX-S500U for $199.99 USD on Amazon as my top choice. I am open to other options except the ASUS SBW-06C1S-U which I bought and returned because it requires two USB 2.0 ports to power the drive when used on the go and it was bulky in design. My ASUS N61JV-X2 has two widely spaced USB ports so the special Y-shaped USB Type A to dual Mini cable is incompatible; I cannot use this drive on the go as I had hoped to be able to do so. I know that LaCie makes the d2 drive, but it is poorly reviewed and it is still quite expensive.

I would appreciate some replies and thoughts about my approach. Thank you.

I decided not to buy an external Blu-Ray writer drive. The costs for hardware and software are still too high. Thanks.
