12 feet 3.5mm to 3.5mm Cable for Gaming?

I am going to be receiving the AIAIAI TMA-1s soon, and I wanted to buy a mini-to-mini cable for gaming. I know these aren't the ideal gaming headphones, but they are going to pretty much be my all-purpose headphones, as I do not have enough money to spend on more than one pair at the moment. I'm looking for a 10-12 foot cable, and was wondering if the sound quality would be affected if I were to buy a cheap cable. Would the quality of the cable really matter if it is only to be used for gaming? Thanks
