So after deciding on the Nuforce uDac2, what headphone should I get with the rest of the funds?

People forgot me v-v
Your last post was a giant wall of text and I'm unsure what the question was. Could you please repost with just the specifics of what you're looking for? Give us your preferred music genres, budget, portable or not, closed or not, amp or not, etc.
You can find a used Denon D2000 within budget which should suit you nicely.
What other headphones would you recommend that don't require such an expensive amp/dac? I will be listening through my laptop the majority of the time so I will need a DAC. I will NOT buy either if they are made in China. I am looking for the headphones to last. Again I listen to a lot of Blind Melon, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, and Umphrey's McGee.

Seriously? As a guy of Chinese heritage, I'm not sure if I should feel miffed or sympathize...
How much are you willing to spend on an amp/headphone? Do you need portability or will this be for a home setup? A cheap option would be to just get a Behringer amp like the HA400 from a music store. Or just use a home receiver/amp with a headphone jack.
Thank you for all the help that you gave.......i am sure the good karma/chi will get back to you .......people like you make the audiophile community stronger everyday.
PS- i don't think my laptop has that good a sound card.......do u think DAC makes enough of a difference that i should prefer fiio E7 over E11?
He is going to be real disappointed when he realizes that his beyers/senns/ultrasones were only assembled in germany and all the parts were sourced from asian countries.

Just about anything is better than onboard sound. The main culprit isn't really the sound card itself, but rather noise from the power supply and processor. Getting an external dac or soundcard helps in this regard, with usb being the most common. While usb does have it's own set of issues, the audibility of these problems is typically much below that caused by onboard power noise.
The FiiO e7 is well regarded. There's also the new iBasso DB-Zero which looks very interesting.

what do u think about the nuforce icon udac-2?
I can't help much with mid-tier amps, but I'd say avoid portable amplifiers or portable DACs if you can. They tend to be terrible return for the money in terms of sound improvement. For a headphone like the HD598 which has a large soundstage, it would benefit more from a better DAC than headphones with more naturally collapsed soundstages so try to get the best DAC you can.
Hi,
so, as a second post, I decided to ask something about a decision I'm gonna make.
I'm looking for new headphones, and an amp. I don't have money that much yet, so I think I'll buy the headphones first and then think of buying an amp. At this moment, I'm using my MacBooks ****ty sound card, so it isn't so enjoyable to listen stuff.
My budget is about 100€/140 USD (blabla.. can't write the icon..)
So, I wish u could help me :)
I'm new here, so I don't know like everything of these things like some of u do :D
hey everyone ,ultrasone pro 900 good for hip-hop / rock / pop /jazz ?
