Right now Adgtron/Dakmart has the 518 for $69 and the 558 for $105...I bought a 558 last night and the total was just over $110 shipped priority.

Thank you. Actually, the shipping is quite expensive....is it a good deal?

Really depends on where you live?  In the US it's good as shipping is just over $5.

You figure the 518 is normally in the $130 range and the 558 is $179  it's a good deal.

But if shipping is $40-50 it might be better to find one local or used in your area.

Adgtron/Dakmart are the same seller, Don't know why they are using both names and different prices for the same item tho?

These are Factory Refurb W/Senn Warranty as well.

I've bought from them before without a problem!!

Don't do it, My " Buy now finger" is on the trigger...LMAO!!!!!!!!!

Bstock can mean a few different things?  Someone bought it, returned it.  Could be a open box, Could be open box with a slight blemish.  But as you see Senn did the Refub, so it will have all new parts, pads, cables etc...But it might have a scratch somewhere

(Doubt it tho) Senn really makes their Refurbs like new.  Could be Senn did the work then Adgtron might have had a seller return or something that would give them a B-Stock rating!!

that means you do not prefer to buy the headphones listed as "bstock"? because this hd600 seems pretty good deal, if it is really in like new condition.

Im very much liking those KRK's, Im wondering how they didnt come up in my searches before. Even found them for $139 on amazon, does that seem reasonable for them?

Also wondering about them, keeping in mind that they are (from all the readings I found on them) pure reference phones, do they still allow that which is good about a recording to come out? Ergo, if the bass in a song was made to be punchy and hard, and was mixed right and all, does it let the bass get punchy, or if a song was written and mixed correctly to let the mids and highs shine and come through with clarity, does it allow for that? Or does it keep all sound neutral out of its signature?

You can check the price history on most Amazon items (and more) with the Camelizer ap.

The 8400 will accurately spit back what you put into it.  Although close to neutral, they are a bit bright and at best have neutral bass.  If you are looking for a bass oriented can, they are not for you.  The 8400 is very well built, especially in its price range.

Anyone? Thanks

Hi all, I'm coming from a pair of ATH-A900's. Range: $200-400. No amp, will get one down the road.

I would like a can that's detail oriented. Mid-bass is very important to me, oomph and texture instead of boom.

Musically; a lot of electronics, bass guitar and harpsichord.

Thanks kindly.

I'd go with the 668B, but you can probably flip a coin between them and the Samson (which are over $50).

This does not consider personal comfort matters and ear sizing.  You'll have to do your own measurements and personal head comfort tests on these $40 to $60 cans.

Hi, I am new to this forum and I need help with recommendations of a headphone under $150 dollars. This is the most I can go with after buying an iPhone 5 i only can limit myself with this $150 budget. I need a headphone with a remote control something like a controltalk where I can use it and travel a lot. Removable cable, interchangeable cable and a single cable (not duo) is a huge plus for me as I can change the cable if it brokes and I need headphones which are portable, foldable, comfortable and stylist looking headphones for a travel use. On ear or Over Ear doesn't matter as long as it is not too big! I listen to genres that are Rock, Pop, RnB, Hip Hop, Alternative Rock, House and some Raps. Curretly eyeing on the Koss Pro DJ-200 and the Soul By Ludacris SL150? Is there any better headphones with a better sounding? Or is there any comparisons between this 2 headphones? I currently have a Beats Studio but I broke it a week ago. So i really need a headphone. Thanks!  :)
