Hey guys I need some help...

I recently got my Beyer DT 990/250 (absolutely love them) and I feel like my little e11 is being pushed to the absolute max and I need a better "Portable" amp that can push my Beyer and other future higher impedance cans. If you guys have any suggestions that would be great!! Oh and please try to keep it under $200 if possible but I'll listen to what ever since I'm probably going to be selling my Pro 900's so I'll have the extra cash if need be.. And if you can give some ideas as to where I can but the AMP's from that would also be awesome :)

Thanks in advance

Hmmm Never heard of it but I'll definitely look into it. Where can it be purchased and do you know how much it cost??

Used O2 amplifiers are sold on the Head-Fi "Amplifiers for Sale" thread.

Last week I bought a used O2 from Florida.

It has great bass and after burn-in and a quick and easy mod or two, it sounds wonderful. Even after the velour pads the total cost is only around $50. check out this thread to read a bit more about it.

These are not behind the neck. I'm not looking for cans and much less close eared headphones....

No worries. I hope you find something that works. There doesn't seem to bee many choices for behind the neck headphones, and even fewer that are worthwhile. Out of curiosity, why do you want/need behind the neck style?

Hey everyone, I was wondering where would be the cheapest most trusted place to buy a pair of HD 598's. At a shop or online.

You may want to consider Sennheiser PMX 90 or the Sennheiser/adidas PMX 680. There's also a variant with integrated remote and mic for the latter - PMX 680i.

Personal prefrence. I dont mind if it isnt "audiophile quality" I just want the best behind the neck style ones.

Ive heard bad things about the PMX 90 compared to the PMX 60, which had great reviews in its days. Either way, I imagine its better than most things out there.

I cant stand earbuds like the PMX 680. Completely unbearable for me.

what headphone would you recomend for $120? (I could go to $150 if it is really worth it)

music: Post-Rock, alternative Rock, progressive, experimental . I.e : Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Animal Collective

Thanks!
