Nice set up. Especially the K702's and LD amp - great value for money these days and you'd have to fork out a lot more to get better!

I saw this rig on Reddit, you did very well :) How are the K702's with the Little Dot?

My latest addition -- the Musical Fidelity V90-HPA amp/DAC came in the mail this morning. It's going to serve as my bedside rig, which I want to be small and simple, although I may feed the V90-HPA to a seperate DAC in the future.

There were safer, more tried-and-tested options I could've gone for in this price range to be quite honest, but the V90-HPA really intrigued me for a couple of reasons. Not had a chance to give it a good run-in yet, as I'm busy most of the day, but I hope to give it some quality time tonight. Right now I've just hooked it up next to my desk where I'll put it through its paces, and my main setup is taking a small vacation on my shelves in the meantime XD. I might do a review of the V90-HPA in the future as I know there are one or two people curious about this amp/DAC, although I'm not as knowledgeable as most of you fellow head-fiers.

At one point I was actually thinking of doing a more expensive hybrid amp + DAC combination but things just kept getting bigger and away from my original vision. With the saved money I'm either going to get a new headphone or a Nintendo 3DS XL this xmas :p.

What shelf/console are you using for LP storage?

Thanks a lot!

The shelf is actually just an Ikea Expedit (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/90116275/) that I added some legs to (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20049538/). The shelves are the perfect size for LPs.

You have no idea.  The amount of patience I had to exercise since January and not being able to hear my rig, could fuel the Space Shuttle. It's been a very long non-audio year. :o

Bad example Shuttle operation are over. Might have been able to put a man on Mars though:0)

You must have a decent portable rig to cover over the rough spots. Sort of Methodone regimen for audiophiles.

Kind of hard to jam that Sansui(nice piece though) in a pocket:) Methinks your idea of portable and mine differ slightly.
