Since school is out because of winter break, I will have alot of projects going on.

Mini^3

Custom iPod LOD cable

Customized Platronics .Audio 355(Just to mess around with to get better sound)

Custom 3.5mm Cable Extender(I'm tired of my Super.Fi 3 cable being to short)

Custom 3.5mm to RCA for Home Theater Amp

I will be mostly be using Canare Starquad L-4E6S cable(I ordered 30') and Neutrik 3.5mm (Black/Gold), any recomendations for female 3.5mm plug and RCA connectors ? I live in the US and can only buy in US.

Can I just cut open an iPod cable and use it for my LOD ?

Any tips for my projects, or part recomendations ?

Any recomendations for projects ? (I can use a desktop/speaker amp or a DAC)

I just finished a gamma2 DAC project and am very pleased with the results. Moderately complex soldering - about 15 SMD parts, some of which have a pretty close lead spacing. You could also do the gamma 1 DAC which is smaller and less expensive. It would pair very well with your mini^3 I imagine as I think it uses the same enclosure.

Edit: forgot to say that the gamma1 and gamma2 are both amb projects

Yeah I would build a DAC, one of the AMB ones or a GrubDAC from beezar.com for which you can buy a whole kit for $35 so you don't need to search for parts.

I just found out I have a lot more money that I thought. Guess I'm also building a DAC and I gonna start modifying my Studio.Fi 3s to be beater headphones for all the sports I do.
