128GB SSD claims to be NW-HD5 compatible

Thread Starter

Hi folks,

I've seen threads on here before about people using CF cards/adaptors in Sony NW-HD5 players with limited success.

These machines use 1.8", 5mm, 50-pin IDE Toshiba drives (not ZIF like 5G ipod)

I just stumbled across these drives which, if you scroll down far enough, claim to be 'HD5' compatible;

Anybody out there tried it?

I don't know about this particular drive. I did know some already replace HD5 hard drive, it used standard drive. Send Kingspec an email, or call them. (They told me their SSD work for Karma, and it did.)
