I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

How many of you have been to the Musikverein?
I have had the good fortune a total of seven times from the ages of 12-55, including a News Year's day concert. (How my father got those New Year's tickets, I'm not sure. They are hard to get!)
The acoustics in that hall are amazing, especially considering that it was built without the acoustic know-how and science we have today.
Great experiences and great memories.

Does any headphone come close to recreating a Musikverein performance honestly?
I am planning to visit Vienna sometime in March!
