I was wondering if these are the same things as the original Image S4s. The Enhanced Bass thing is worrying me.

These are the same thing, I have them. The enhanced bass thing is nothing but marketing, as this is one of the higher quality IEMs sold at places like Best Buy. there really is not an excessive amount of bass, unless you listen to solely classical. if that is the case, you shouldn't have even thought of these in the first place as these shine with rock, trance, etc.
