Getting the best of my system?

What else do I need to do to to make sure I'm getting the best of my system?

Ok so here's the deal:

I'm using my computer to listen to music and play games.. I just want to make sure everything's ok ( so much information going on on this site)

So.. here's the equation

Flac Files -> J River Media Center (WASAPI SPDIF) -> Auzentech Forte ( Audio Creation Mode) -> Coaxial Cable -> Audio-GD Fun (Earth) -> Denon d2000 (with the db gain)

When I play games I tend to use the Game Mode of my SC and use the "Speakers" (2.1 or even 5.1 sometimes.. sound is more fun and surround) option of the sound menu instead of the "SPDIF out"

Are you guys using 24/48 or 24/96 in the sound advanced options? Anything I shoul keep an eye on concerning the software/tweeking part?

is there anythign missing or that I should change.. get rid of.. I mean the sound satisfy me for the moment but there is always place for a good upgrade

any suggestion?

thks!

I'd go

Flac Files -> J River Media Center (WASAPI SPDIF)  -> Usb Cable -> Audio-GD Fun (Earth) -> Denon d2000 (with the db gain) ,,   . ,,

Less in the signal path, simple is best , try that and see how that sounds.

24/48 or 24/96 it depends what the source file is, if the source file is  24/96 then use that setting, theres no harm/advantage using it if the source file is 24/48.
