Glad that has been sorted
. I was also under the impression that it was coming with Duracel one use batteries. Im not here to get into a debate of what it should or shouldnt come with, and Im not trying to derail this thread. In fact im asking so I can get the best performance out of this particular amp, the Pico Power.
I did some very quick reading of that Battery university link. Now im more confused?? I saw it said that Lithium cells are only 3.6v. So if that is the case how can anyone make a 9v lithium battery? It would have to be either 7.2v or 10.8v...So to me that means any lithium battery sold as 9v, or even 8.4v would have to be 7.2v. With Ni-MH they are 1.2v (1.25v) cells, so they can atleast build a 8.4v or 9.6v cell.
Id like to hear Justin's thoughts on this and about voltage requirements. Obviously when a type is chosen, then IMO I would just by the one with the largest mha.
Told you guys I wasnt tech savvy hahaha.
BTW, Im sure Justin will ship them as soon as they are ready, Knowing when they are coming wont change when they are coming . On top of which im sure he will post in this thread orders sent. Man Id hate to be in the post office cue behind him ![]()

Yeah, i gotta hold my excitement actually because i am all the way on the other side of the country. When he ships that is when my wait begins and the postal service here sucks. The fact that many shippers are using this ups service that then transfers the delivery to the post office and takes way longer than regular postal or regular ups just drives me nuts. There is no tracking and it consistently takes well over a week from the east coast. I avoid it at all costs. Wish we had some shipping options but i think usually he just goes one shipping route in these cases. Anyway it is always worth the two day option if possible for things coming from that far because it saves the weekend lay over usually.

international ones will ship USPS Air Mail, which does now have tracking to Canada. the prices for USPS Priority and Express are now ridiculous and are actually more than FedEx w/ discounts

Try living in a European country where Customs and Excise detain imported packages for up to a month while they determine what duties to charge. Then you get clobbered with a 20% import tax on everything costing more than $20. Plus the delivering agent (typically the Royal Mail) charge a $10 fee to retrospectively reclaim the aforementioned taxation. Then you really have something to gripe about!

For all the talk of shipping, remember it is relative. Yes im sure the US guys are not happy, but most around the glode, like myself that have had more than a few experiences with USPS, will atest to the fact it is a great service at a great price. I have shipped everything from clothes to complete 100cc chainsaws, tools, off road race shocks, headphones etc..99% I used Priority International. Cheaper than shipping the same item across my own country and with less restrictions.
Canada post sucks and the customer service even worse
Uk Post is so expensive its cheaper, quicker etc for me to use UPS with car parts.
Now, does anyone want to help me with my battery questions ![]()

Good point Andy, I will try to be more grateful for the infrastructure and costs over here on this side of the pond.
