brass dissolves in an anodizing tank. aluminum or titanium does not. titanium is the best but would cost a fortune. so i bought aluminum screws, but someone had tinned brass screws to make them look like aluminum and sell for a lot more money. i should have cut one in half or weighed them...

it can have a bit of a purple tint to it sometimes. sometimes it just looks gray. those colors havent arrived yet, so i don't know which one i'll get. the darker it is the more it will look blue/purple.
^ Most of the gray picos looked like this.
