What would you suggest for me?

I've started a couple threads, but don't seem to be getting much help. I would really like to purchase a good DAC or amp or both.If I already have a tube amp which does not have a headphone jack should I just get a good DAC? Can I use the amp with the DAC and headphones?

The head phones I have are the AD700. What would you suggest for me?
