New to "audio world". Need some advice.

Hey everybody. Just joined up here, figured I'd say Hi and ask my first question all in one go. biggrin.gif

I just bought a set of JVC HA-RX700's from Amazon (they're due to come in tomorrow!) and I'm looking for a way to get the most out of my headphones. I've been using my LG enV Touch and some old Skullcandy cans, so I guess anything is an improvement.

I was looking at 2 options. Getting a headphone amp (FiiO E7, it would also become my USB DAC for my computer) or getting a Cowon something (the D2+ looks nice.)

EDIT: Just for clarification, I would be using the headphone amp with my phone.

As of right now, my music collection consists of almost entirely 320kbps MP3's but if I were to get the Cowon, I would get FLAC or some other higher quality format.

My budget is preferably ~$100 max and the cheaper the better.

Thanks everybody,

Bryan

Get the Cowon, then get the E7. Problem solved - next.
