Recommendations for improving my listening experience

I am currently using Zune 30 GB (Brick) with Shure SE530. I also have a Windows phone with Core player to play the lossless flac. I started to like the flac songs and thinking about getting one to replace my Zune. I started read through this forum for help, but it left me in a confused state. My budget is around $300. Which one would be better for me

a) An amp to tie with my Zune. (Not sure which one would fit my budget)

b) HM-601 player. (Decided upon this over Cowon J3 after reading through the forum)

Which one among this two options would give better listening experience.

Thanks.

FWIR, the HM-601 would be the ticket, but can you get one for $300 ??

Thanks for the reply. That is what i thought.

There is an ongoing promotion for HM-601 for $259 + free Re-zero earphones. HM-602 is not in my budget though.

There are few more DAPs to pair with SE530 without AMPs use like X1060, Cowon X7, Samsung P3, S-Flo2(also has line out for external AMPs use), S9 but HM-601+RE_ZERO are great value.
