Hey guys, first post here, but I have been secretly reading in this forum for quite a while already.
before I started, just want to say what a great forum this is, every time there is something new to learn here! good job guys!
so here it goes, I bough the Lake People G100 (headphone amp) and the Apogee Duet (dac) for my HD650
The reason I bought this combo is because I do music production, so I aimed for the neutral setup
however, I found this setup to be too analysis (cold) for the sake of music enjoyment.
Now the question:
I listened to the Burson HA-160 a while ago, and loved the sound of it.
I want keep the G100 and the Duet just for music production work, and build another headphone setup just for music enjoyment.
sorry guys if I'm being an idiot and anoyying, but if I want to get a more different sound from the neutral setup that I have,
should I:
1) get a more musical dac > Lake people G100?
2) or keep the Duet > and get the Burson 160?
3) or should I just get the Burson 160D as a headphone amp/dac combo?
which setup above do you think will have more impact on changing the sound from my neutral setup?
