This may be a stupid question but is there a difference between the Shure e2c and the e2? DJMart has the e2 on sale but everywhere else it seems to be e2c.

nope. no difference really except the accessories u get which I believe are the tips

The packaging is different. I believe that the cases and tips are the same. I have the pro version and it came with everything the consumer version has. Pro version is cheaper anyways.

I think the professional version doesn't come with the shell-type casing, just a pouch.. is that correct?

Not sure what other differences are.

I thought the pro version had different cases, but my e2 has the zipper spool case. No pouch. I don't know if this was an old or new version.

E2 and E2c have aqlways shipped with the same zippered spool and accessories. The only differences are the packaging and the User Guides.
E1 had a velour pouch, and E1c had the zippered spool.

E3 and E3c will both have the zippered spool and the same accessories (1 pair of foam, 3 pairs of flex sleeves and 3 pairs of new soft flex sleeves). But the E3c is white, and the E3 is gray.

Oohh, are there any pictures of the E3 floating around yet? I wasn't keen on the white color of the E3c (I know it'll appeal to iPod people, but not me )
