I'm raising this issue here because I don't really know where else to...
I live in New Zealand. After very recently acquiring a pair of AKG K702's, I've been hunting after a balanced pair for my incoming Audio-Gd NFB-10ES.
I saw a set of AKG K701's going for sale in the classifieds here by a reputable US-based head-fier, and asked if he would be okay with sending them to APureSound for them to recable to balanced (and for APS to post them to me afterwards), which he was fine with.
I contacted APS via the order form on their website, and was responded to within 24 hours by Heli, saying that was fine, their address to post the headphones to and a quote.
I promptly forwarded the address to the head-fier who sent them the next day. Meanwhile, I emailed Heli back asking for their PayPal details to pay the amount.
7 days later I am yet to receive a reply to this email, despite 2 further emails to email@example.com (Heli's email), an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and a PM to Alex's head-fi account. My 701's have been, according to the tracking number I have, at their address for four days.
There are 2 reasons I went with APS. 1. From numerous accounts they are at least among the best in cables in their price range. 2. I've seen a lot of love for APS on here in terms of how nice and caring they are to their customers.
I still have faith in APS, it's not like they have run away with my $. Maybe something has gone wrong with their email server or something has happened to someone in or close to the company? But no news has come up on their website, neither Heli nor Alex (via head-fi) have answered me in days...
If someone who knows Alex is able to point him to this thread or give me his personal email address or phone number via PM, I would greatly appreciate it.
