Headphone cable to speaker amp? (LCD-2 cable)

Never messed around with cables much before. I want to use my LCD-2 cable with my speaker amp.

I figured as much as the red cable is left channel and orange is right. The ground cables do you connect them to plus or minus? Easilly heard if they are connected the wrong way? Or are you not supposed to use them just split the left and right cables in two instead?

Think I got it right. If by any chance the grounds have a poor connection it can´t damage the headphones? Not used to such whimsy cables for my speakers.

Inside the TRS connector, the ground wires from both left and right channels are soldered together to the ground of the TRS connector. To connect them to your amp's speaker terminals, they have to be separated, the left ground to the left speaker's ground and the right to the right. Here's a diagram of the wires. To check which ground wire is which, if they are not color coded, you have to use a multimeter.
