1) Airy sounding/ Awesome clarity
2) Light bass (I don't like bass
)
3) <$100 (A little bit above 100 is fine though)
I surfed around the forums and thought it was time to move on from my M2 BrainWavz. Thanks in advance ;)

Excellent clarity for 100$? Head direct RE0 comes to mind. Otherwise, you could check some Ety HF2/5 for the price.
+1.
The RE-Zero would also work.
Awesome, a good and straight forward answer. Thanks again mate ;)
I'll throw the Fischer Audio Silver Bullets into the ring! Great wide soundstage with lots of air between the instruments, great bass (not too hard not too light) and lush sound with good balance through all the frequencies, read about it more in joker's and swbf2cheater
In jokers thread its number 2C19:

beyerdynamic dtx10 is a option for you. check it out.
I don't have experience with the Etymotic Research HF2/5; but I do own, and love, my pair of Etymotic Research ER-6i. They can be had for about $80.The bass on the headphones is neutral and well defined to my ears. Here is short review I found on them: clicky.
I'm listening to Doris Day on them as I write this.
