Granted, working in a retail environment where we have a display case full of them does make it more tempting, but it wasnt a temptation prior to the 2010 refresh. Having owned a 2009 Classic (OK SQ, sensational storage capacity) and a 2009 8GB Touch (ordinary SQ but good for other things), I had no interest in buying another iPod until the new models emerged a couple of months back.

You can imagine my surprise when I bought the new Shuffle, largely on a whim, and found that the Head-Fi impressions lined up with my own opinion of the sound - something a lot closer to the original 1GB Shuffle. Its with some trepidation, however, that I consider shelling out for the 16GB Nano over something cheaper like a Clip+. I dont like either form factor, but a small touchscreen just doesnt make a lot of sense to me. Interested to hear how others have fared with the 2010 Nano.

Tks,
