M-stage vs Asus Essence ST vs Others <$600

I've been looking for a suitable amp to drive my K702s for around a week now, but still have no definite answer. How would the Matrix M-stage compare to an amp costing around $500? Many of you feel the M-Stage drives them well, but is it worth paying twice as much for, from what I gather, a slightly better amp?

 

The Asus Essence Xonar ST/X is applauded around here as a budget headphone amplifier, does it compete against the Matrix M-stage or Heed Canamp?

Edit: I listen exclusively to classical, and would prefer an amp with a slight amount of warmth.

I haven't been able to find a comparison between these headphone amps, so if anybody has used them, advice would be greatly appreciated!
