I love my JH13s more than any pair of headphones I've ever had but I have a problems.

 

The cables that come with them are not the best quality.  I have a pair of JH5s as well and I was using that cable on the JH13s after my JH13 cables broke but those are starting to go now as well.

 

What are my cable options?  

 

I was looking at the Whiplash Elite JHA IEM OM replacement cable.  Is it quite durable?  Also, I've never used anything other than the stock cables that comes with the IEMs, will I actually notice a change in sound quality?

 

I see Whiplash has two different versions of the cable, one OM, one not.  Is there a significant difference in sound quality between these 2?

 

 

I'd prefer not to spend $300 on a pair of cables because I don't know how long they will last, what other cables can I go for?  And is the Whiplash cables worth it?
