Did you find the Mist & the Grudge scary..

Both disappointed me.. I will give credit to the director of the mist for the ending, which was a brave & controversial move on his part. The cause of the mist is a real downer.. Hint.. Think the Crazies.. CGI is still up in the air with me..

The Grudge was pretty sorry.. The Ring is much better & more scary, especially the Japanese, & true version. Some legit scares.. Japanese horror does demons & the undead very well, but the film just seemed misplaced..

The ending of The Mist pissed me off like no other! angry_face.gif I liked it for being different and daring, but it really ticked me off.

I found the grudge to be scary for the simple fact that I left for Japan the day after watching it. I slept in my friend's grandparent's tatami room which beared an uncanny resemblance to the house where the girl gets sucked up into the attic. eek.gif

the Girl who preaches in the mist piss me off, I almost stopped watching.

The Mist is the 2nd worst movie I've ever seen. It's that bad.

As far as I remember I was startled a few times watching the Grudge but I don't think it was scary. I haven't seen a truly scary movie in a long time. I judge a movies scariness by whether or not it causes me to not be able to fall asleep because I am laying there listening to all the sounds of the house and wondering if something is going to come out of the dark and get me...lol...yeah...I know...I'm 34 going on 10...lol

The grudge didn't scare me, but Ju-On scared the **** out of me the first time I watched it.

I didn't see "The Grudge," but "The Mist" wasn't scary.

What frightens me is when I don't feed the cat on time.

In terms of it being a good or bad film, I have to agree with you, its pretty awful.

The Decent did that to me.. Truly scared me, & I don't scare easy.. Physological terror gets me.. Although, the short story called sea cruise from the Masters of horror series was really distrurbing & scary IMO.. Japanese director.. Don't get me started on imprint.. Very disturbing & was banned from Showtime.. Not really scary though.. But it made me cringe..
